SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — A SWAT team is responding to an active situation in Gold Bar, where a man armed with a gun has barricaded himself inside a home and is refusing to cooperate with law enforcement.
According to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, the incident is taking place at a residence on May Court Road. The Region 1 SWAT team is on the scene and is working to negotiate with the suspect.

Officials said the man has fired several shots, but there are no reports of injuries at this time.

The situation began as a domestic violence call. Authorities confirmed that the suspect is alone in the house, and deputies are continuing efforts to resolve the standoff peacefully.
